Dear P723X Families,

I hope this letter finds you well and that your summer has been filled with great experiences. Welcome to the 2025-2026 academic school year my name is Mrs. Powe, and I am excited to serve as the new Parent Coordinator for P723X Schools. With more than 15 years of experience in social work, I am deeply passionate about supporting families and fostering strong school–home connections.

This year, my goal is to increase parent participation and engagement so that together, we can create the best possible learning environment for our students. I look forward to working with you, listening to your ideas, and building meaningful partnerships throughout the school year.

Important Dates:	Back to School Bash, Jacob Javits Center September 6, 2025 BUSSING PROVIDED, if interested, reach out to your school Rosh Hashanah Sept 23 Tuesday & 24 Wednesday, 2025 (All school sites are closed)
Office Hours:	8 am – 4 pm
Start of Classes – Dismissal:	8:00 am – 2:20 pm
Attendance:	It is important that your child comes to school every day. Check vacation dates and Holiday Attendance, to schedule appointments. If your child is absent, be sure to call and send in a doctor's note.
Blue Card:	It is important to fill out a blue card. If you move or change your phone number, please let the school know as soon as possible.
NYCSA Parent Account:	All families must create a parent account. Workshops and trainings will be held during this school year.

 

I urge you to support our school by making sure students attend school daily, supporting the Parent Association, attending Parent-Teacher Conferences, and attending our workshops.

Keep an eye out for calendars, workshop flyers, school event reminders, and more. I look forward to a successful year. I think knowing what parents want will help me get all the support parents need from our school. You can contact me at 718-409-6808 with any questions you have.

Estimadas familias de P723X

Espero que esta carta les llegue bien y que hayan tenido un verano lleno de experiencias inolvidables. Bienvenidos al año escolar 2025-2026. Mi nombre es Sra. Powe y estoy emocionada de servir como la nueva Coordinadora de Padres para las escuelas P723X. Con más de 15 años de experiencia en trabajo social, tengo una profunda pasión por apoyar a las familias y fomentar conexiones fuertes entre la escuela y el hogar.Este año, mi objetivo es aumentar la participación y el compromiso de los padres para que juntos podamos crear el mejor ambiente de aprendizaje posible para nuestros estudiantes. Espero trabajar con ustedes, escuchar sus ideas y construir asociaciones significativas a lo largo del año escolar.Estoy disponible para reunirme cuando les convenga. Fechas importantes:	Fiesta de regreso a clases, Centro Jacob Javits, 6 de septiembre de 2025 SE OFRECE SERVICIO DE TRANSPORTE. Si les interesa, contacten con su escuela. Rosh Hashana, 23 Martes & 24 miércoles de septiembre de 2025 (Todas las escuelas estarán cerradas).
Horario de oficina:	8:00 a. m. a 4:00 p. m.
Inicio y salida de clases:	8:00 a. m. a 2:40 p. m.
Asistencia:	Es importante que su hijo/a asista a la escuela todos los días. Consulten las fechas de vacaciones y la asistencia en días festivos para programar citas. Si su hijo/a falta, asegúrense de llamar y enviar un certificado médico.
Tarjeta Azul:	Es importante llenar la tarjeta azul. Si se muda o cambia de número de teléfono, por favor, avísele a la escuela lo antes posible.
Cuenta para Padres de NYCSA:	Todas las familias deben crear una cuenta para padres. Se realizarán talleres y capacitaciones durante este año escolar.

 

Les insto a apoyar a nuestra escuela asegurándose de que los estudiantes asistan a la escuela, apoyando a la Asociación de Padres, asistiendo a las Conferencias de Padres y Maestros y asistiendo a nuestros talleres.

Estén atentos a los calendarios, folletos de talleres, recordatorios de eventos escolares y más. Espero que tengan un año exitoso. Creo que saber qué desean los padres me ayudará a obtener todo el apoyo que necesitan de nuestra escuela. Pueden contactarme al 718-409-6808 si tienen alguna pregunta.
